End Hunger Potato Drop


When: Saturday, December 17, 2022,  7 am - 9am 
Where: Eastport United Methodist Church, 

               926 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403

Purpose: The Society of Saint Andrew (SOSA), and the Annapolis District UM Men will provide 800 50-lb bags of fresh Maine potatoes to churches and food bank organizations who wish to help feed the hungry in their community.  To reserve your 50-lb bags of potatoes, visit UMMrsvp.org

Additionally, we need volunteers of all ages to help unload the tractor trailer, breakdown 100 of the 50-lb bags to 10-lb bags and deliver to 800 families in the City of Annapolis. Youth bring your form for service hours.

A free will offering will be taken to help pay for $4,500 transportation of the potatoes, or you can mail a check 

made out to  BWC UMM (memo SOSA), to Alwyn Taylor, BWC UMM Treasurer, 30 Hidden Field Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
