Potatoes are reserved on a first come basis so act now!

 

Purpose: The Society of Saint Andrew (SOSA), the District UM Men, and the Glen Burnie UMC Missions & UMM  will provide 800 50-lb bags of fresh Maine potatoes to churches and food bank organizations that wish to help feed the hungry in their community.

We need volunteers to help unload the tractor-trailer, direct traffic, and create over  5 to 10-lb bags of potatoes for distribution to families and seniors in need. Visit UMMpotatoes.org to register as a volunteer.

A free-will offering will be taken to help pay for the $4,500 transportation cost the potatoes.   Or you can mail a check made out to  BWC UMM (memo SOSA), to Alwyn Taylor, BWC UMM Treasurer, 30 Hidden Field Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
