Agenda

Purpose of the Sept 4th meeting is to plan for the Oct 9th BWC UMMen Annual Meeting with the following goals:

  • Reach 400 men to attend the annual event
  • Serve breakfast prepared by the men of St Mark UMM
  • Provide a morning of spiritual renewal through God's message , men's special music, personal testimony and praise.  Ignite  men to reach other men to be part of men's ministry, through serving, worship, mission and fellowship
  • Mail out flyers to all 680 churches in the conference

Each District and local  President, Prayer warriors and  interested attendees is to report on the following:

  • Choir from their district to sing at the event
  • present an $80.00 check to BWC UMM Treasurer from each district in financial support
  • Nominate a Man-of-the Year from their district
  • commitment to bring at 50 men from each district
  • programs ideas for the meeting, such as EMS, Amachi, Men's Ministry Specialist, SOSA, etc.

Reminders of upcoming UMMen events and need for  volunteers at the Bishop's Laity Day Apart on Sept 25th

Because the  August 14th meeting had to be rescheduled because of the move to the new Conference Center the  business meeting portion of the UMMen Board meeting will be held via a conference call.  The date and time of the conference call will be finalized at the Sept 4th meeting.  The preliminary agenda of the business meeting conference call will include:

    • General Commission of UMM, new Secretary, Gil Hanke visit on July 28

    • North East Jurisdiction UMM meeting held Aug 6-7

  • Prayer Ministry - Curtis Warren

  • Secretary's Report - Richard Campbell

  • Treasurer's Report - Phil Ferguson
